Stevie B's Bio: From Car Washes to Number One
He worked jobs from car washing to fast food before his 1987 club smash "Party Your Body." That song also gave his 1988 debut album its name, and the album went gold.

His career peaked fast. His 1990 album Love & Emotion carried the chart-topping single. If you like singers whose hits outlived the charts, read GMRU's Lou Rawls profile.

No audited figure exists for his net worth. Estimates range from about $1M to $12M, and most don't state a method.
One profile site places it between $1 million and $5 million. Another claims $12 million "adjusted for inflation." That claim makes little sense, because wealth is not inflation-adjusted that way.
